2018 Community
Partner of the Year

Must be non-profit under the IRS code 501 (c) 3 or a faith-based organization that:

  • made significant and sustained contributions of volunteer time, funds, supplies or any combination of these;
  • has a relationship with an FCPS department, individual school or several schools;
  • for the purpose of furthering academic achievement and/or student success.


2018 FCPS Business
Partner of Year

Must be a for-profit corporate entity that:

 

  • made significant and sustained contributions of volunteer time, funds,  supplies or any combination of these;
  • has a relationship with an FCPS department, individual school or several schools;
  • for the purpose of furthering academic achievement and/or student success.

 

2018 Workforce Development
Partner of the Year

May be a for-profit or non-profit entity that:

  • Supports and engages students in career awareness, exploration or preparation;
  • has a relationship with an FCPS department, individual school or several schools;
  • for the purpose of preparing students to succeed in the workforce of the future.

The FCPS Partner of the Year Awards are a collaboration between the Foundation for Fairfax County Public Schools and FCPS -Business and Community Partnerships to recognize the valuable contributions being made by business and nonprofit partners throughout FCPS and increase awareness of the importance of business and civic involvement in our school system.

Finalists will be notified at the end of September. Awards for each category will be announced and presented live during the State of Education Luncheon  on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Fairview Park Marriott.
